Have you ever ended a month and felt like you didn’t do so much to call it fulfilled? Or maybe you are like I used to be, taking each day any way it comes and then feel it was a wasted month at the end?
The clock keeps ticking and your yearly resolutions are still nowhere near fulfilment. Each month end still meets you the same way the year started, right?
You promised yourself that you will make more money this year or maybe you made a resolution to read more books this year. Then I got a full trick for you to still get back on track.
If you are thinking of a magic wand that would make all your resolutions come to pass within seconds then I doubt you will be too excited to read this but what if I promise that If you read this to the end, you would give me many bunch of bananas because of the value you would get from it ( I love bananas so don’t look at me like that)
Okay, I was saying that you can still make the best use of the remaining months in this year to achieve a lot than you already have.
One perfect way of taking a bold step towards achieving all you planned for a month is to plan that month ahead. No one is saying you should choke yourself up with schedules. I am only telling you a trick that has been working since 1230AD when I was first born( this is my 45th life anyways)
If you spend an hour on the first day of the month to plan everything you want to achieve through the month and how many hours you intend to spend daily working towards it. That may seem baseless but it is one basic step towards making the best out of the year.
Why you should plan the month ahead?
1.It saves you time.
Instead of waking up everyday contemplating on what you will do, why don’t you have your whole plans laid out so that you can just wake up in the morning and get started with working towards your goals.
2. Accountability:-
This works especially when you draft out your plan in a paper or customized To-do list( If you ask nicely, I can recommend some good apps). At the end of the month, you can go back to your plan and tick the ones you were able to achieve.
But what if I tell you that this still wouldn’t work? Sadly, but yes. It won’t if…
If you don’t discipline yourself and stop procrastinating then writing a plan would be as useless as the P in Psychology (that’s a cliché, I know already)
Beating procrastination is not easy so I won’t sugar-coat anything to you at all. I mean it feels so good to sleep all day or even engage in baseless chat all day.
But the truth is that it wouldn’t get you anywhere.
Draft your plans and discipline yourself into doing them, then watch yourself achieve your goals before the month ends. Don’t forget to applause yourself when you get through the fulfilled month. You might want to share your experience with us at the end of the month.
